In this special episode, Paris talks with Thunder VP of Community Relations, Christine Berney, about how the Thunder continues to look and fulfill needs throughout the community. From face masks, to meals, to recognizing the 2020 graduation class, the Thunder is still making its mark on the state.

Darius Bazley and Deonte Burton join the residents of the Pershing Center to pack kits for those who currently don't have somewhere warm to stay. With the support of Chesapeake Energy, the group packed 1000 kits including gloves, hats, snacks, and toiletries. And as a bonus, the residents were surprised with a total makeover of their theater room.
Danilo Gallinari takes a family of 12 to Homeland to buy a bunch of groceries before the holidays and then surprises them with an additional $500 gift card.
Thunder two-way players Kevin Hervey and Lu Dort join Thunder fans at Embark Senior Living Center to make mats for the homeless.
Chris Paul surprised kids from the Big Brother, Big Sister program with a $100 gift card to spend with just one stipulation; they had to buy at least one gift for someone else.

The entire Thunder roster hosts a Thanksgiving party for the kids of Positive Tomorrows, a school that focuses primarily on homeless kids in Oklahoma City.  The players played games, made crafts, and shared some laughs as the school unveiled it's brand new building.

Thunder Fellows Executive Director Cedric Ikpo joins the podcast to share his vision on the program that is designed to unlock new opportunities in sports, technology and entertainment for Black high school and college students in the Tulsa area. 
On this episode of the Thunder Cares Cast we go to Homeland with Luguentz Dort. The Oklahoma City Thunder treats the extremely deserving Roberts family to a grocery shopping spree, and brings along the rising star to spend time with the kids and help load their carts. On this grocery run, it's whatever the kids want. 
We had the opportunity to sit down with Christine Berney, the woman behind Thunder Community Relations. Christine has years of experience in bringing hope and kindness to the people of Oklahoma City. With her team and the Thunder Basketball roster, she has seen first hand what can happen when Thunder fans reach out and step up for their city.

The entire Thunder roster brought gifts and games to Dave & Buster's as families with foster kids were surprised with a fun afternoon.  Dennis Schröder made a special connection playing pop-a-shot with DShawn, who admitted that Dennis is his favorite player.  Working with Citizens Caring For Children, foster families had a special day and made memories that will last a lifetime.
