Description

When you scroll through social media most of the time you'll see moms with their shit together. Hair done, date nights, expensive lattes ( kudos to them - they're goals!) - and then there's me. Hair in a bun, running out the door to get my little one to daycare and can't remember the last time I washed my hair. I LOVE nothing more than being a mom but I don't sugar coat the struggles that come with motherhood.Listen to my journey weekly.

Pregnancy from prior to conception to all the way to birth is out of our control. If it was up to us- we would get pregnant right away, get through that first trimester without miscarrying and carry/deliver a healthy full term baby.As we know- pregnancy may not go ccording to our "plan" and no matter what we do, what will be will be.This is the story of how and why I was put on pelvic rest.Thank you for being here. xo

I love my husband and I love our marriage - and we also disagree and fight. We've had to really put in work to get over hurdles.11 years together and you're bound to hit a rough patch (patches). When you have a child it's like you think all the hard parts will go away - when in reality any issue you had prior to children becomes maginified. It becomes too big to not see it anymore and I think it's all apart of the divine plan to show us all of the cracks in ourslves and our foundation so we can work to make it the strongest possible for our little one.
Growing up I always wanted to be a mom of one.I was an only child and loved the experience. Motherhood as you know, will change you and everything you thought you beileved in.I'm now open to another child- but do you ever really know when you are "done" ?
God Bless Canada! I took a 12 month maternity leave and was able to recover physically, mentally and focus on my new babygirl. That was a time in my life that I will cherish forever no matter how challenging it felt at times. This episode is a little glimpse into what I loved about maternity leave and what I didn't.What I thought maternity leave would be and what it really was.Maternity leave isn't a vacation - it is magical and also filled with hard and challenging moments.
The one thing I LOVE about motherhood? Cuddles. The one thing that I don't LOVE about motherhood? Happy New Year Mayhem Tribe!2020: Lets stop telling moms they should stay home with their children & not go to work / lets stop telling moms they should go to work instead of stay home with their children!Lets just let moms do whatever the f*ck they need/want to do which will make them the best mom they can be.Being a working mom is a rewarding challenge & 30 minutes isn't enough to dig deep into it but here is a glimpse into my take on being a working mama.
I personally have never had a miscarriage but this is my first experience with one when I was 7 years old.I have full permission from my strong momma to speak about this story. One that I will never forget and one that has shaped me to be so compassionate towards women who have experienced this type of loss.Although I have never experienced this loss I sympathize deeply with the women who have.My heart is with you all - always. This episode is in memory of the babyboy my mother misscarried at 6 months -my brother in Heaven- Jonathan.
It is no secret that relathionships are hard. I have never met anyone that had said their entire relationship has been easy. No matter what - there will be a rough patch or ups and downs at some point. After having a child your relationship goes through a rough patch. You're sleep deprived, irritable and disconnected from your partner. Yet all you see in movies, magazines or social media is the unrealistic protrayal that a baby has completed your union and you are now living in complete bliss. FYI: That's not the case for most. For some real talk hit play!
