On 4/20,  Christine interviewed Matt  Brogan, hemp farmer and Director of Operations for Brown Shamrock Farms in Lafayette, Indiana.  He is a second-generation row crop farmer of corn and soybeans in the midwest and has been farming hemp for about 3 years. Matt oversees operations of the company's hemp farms in Colorado and Indiana. Their CBD company is creating products that are used in medical facilities all over the US. Matt has a wealth of information to share. As I reflect on the past 12 months, I want to share a few resources that have brought me through with optimism for the future. "Cannabis? NO WAY!"If this is you, you need to listen to Gail's story! For years Gail was managing anxiety, stress and nerve pain using conventional over the counter medications and those prescribed by her doctor. Over time she began to 'lose herself' in that she felt like she wasn't "truly living her life." She was experiencing life however never really felt present. With a lack of real joy or even real sorrow, Gail noticed that she hadn't actually felt much of anything for quite some time and life was happening to her, instead of her creating it. If that wasn't enough, she developed gut problems because of the medications and finally found herself longing for an alternative. Never did she imagine that would be cannabis!
