Cancer is one of the top killers in our world. My friend Cordale sat down with me in the van and told me about his cousin, more like a brother, who was taken by surprise and so so soon. While 2021 looked hopeful for many, before the first month was over, some battled the biggest fight of their life and lost... Cordale shares details of his experience standing by the side of someone he loved very much. With the fear, the worry, the pain, the exhaustion, a decision, and ultimately the loss. What do we do when someone we love gets diagnosed? How are we supposed to react? How do they react? What is cancer? Remember.. You are not alone. Whatever your battle is, talk to people. Look beyond yourself and fight, love, smile. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hois2F0Jy2YSupport the Show.

Lonely? Depressed? Suicidal? Why? Have you changed everything in your control? probably not. Partners, jobs, vehicles..  All three are very big attributes to our daily mood. None of which should define us. Who are you at your core? Today's episode was recorded on the last day my van drove.. In a time that we feel like we have lost all control and all normalcy, I encourage you to take advantage of the season you are currently in. What would you do if your living just a regular day, and then BAM? You're surrounded and thrown to the ground by a S.W.A.T. team? Without any explanation your freedom is ripped from you without a promise it will return. On worldwide television, you are listed as a criminal to the United States. A threat. Your identity forever tainted. How would you feel? Could you recover? Plot twist! What if this happened to someone you knew? Your own father? Well, this did happen to my family. Hear what Paul Kevin Curtis, my dad, has to say about the craziest experience we never saw coming. How it changed his life? And, where he is today. My father is a man of many talents. He is passionate, a truth-seeker, and he stands up for what is right. Hear him transform into Trump, Kermit the frog, etc... In a world that makes us fearful of tomorrow due to covering our face for "protection," the modern-day civil war, or perhaps the basic anxieties we faced before the notorious 2020 began. Finding our voice can be tough. Combine that with actually listening to it, and that is near impossible. Only a few have succeeded in reaching their purpose while following their heart. We know them as the greats. Those names that you bring up over coffee and everyone in the room is quick to comment their opinion and/or experience. We have been completely off-grid, traveling through the state of Colorado. How do we find the perfect camping spots? What do you need when camping in the wilderness? What did we do when we found a mouse moved in and destroying our home? Telling all the wonderful tales of our mountain adventures, new friends, and how we ended up in a two-story resort, thanks to a stranger. Be good people and good people will be good to you. #VanlifeSupport the show
