After life got busy for a while for the guys, they're back to talk about what they watched/caught up with when they had time to spare. The guys are back again after another small break in the programming schedule! Today, they talk about the recent season of Stranger Things, a patient-viewer's perspective after their first time viewing of Fleabag, and the TV shows they would use to to teach a screenwriting class.They just talk about these topics in reverse order...
In 2008, the American Film Institute (aka the AFI) unveiled a series of lists ranking their choices for the Top 10 greatest films in 10 different genres. 14 years later, the guys think it's due for an update.So today, the guys discuss what films they would include in their own handpicked genres. But there's just one thing: they "invented" their own genres, so as to be as inclusive to as many films as possible.
After another brief delay, the guys are back to catch up with all they've watched since the last episode. We're one Sunday away from the Oscars! The guys give their thoughts on the movies they drafted last week, while looking at who the favorites are going into the weekend. Plus, they take some time to talk about The Batman, the biggest movie release of the past month.
This week, the guys provide an update on the state of video game adaptions, both incoming and already released, since the hiatus. Plus, they touch on the release of The Batman and give a preview of what they expect (since nobody had seen it yet at the time of recording), and Nick takes a quick victory lap for predicting the latest news to come from Crunchyroll and Funimation.
What was supposed to be a brief hiatus and a November return turned into a longer than expected break into the new year, but the boys are back!
