Steven Paddock comes to mind with this one. VERY interesting that you can be a known criminal, supplied with military weapons (C4 or perhaps an M240?), and monitored all the way up to the moment of a mass-casualty event before a federal police agency decides to intervene.
There is a gap in national security when it comes to elections like this. Trump was NOT the President or nominee at the time, but was absolutely a contender and most likely to be winner. probably why there was no ground stops or procedure to deal with this situation like there would if this was an attempt on President's life. The US knows how to hobble hierarchies by eliminating 2nd and 3rd in command while leaving the incompetent 1st in place. Hubris to think it couldn't happen to us.
