Description

Thanks for visiting, this is a podcast for all things, but mostly Disney. Here I talk about all topics of Disney, theme parks, and other things in entertainment that I find interesting for fun to talk about. This is an explicit podcast, by that I mean you'll most likely hear some cursing that might range from PG-13 to R. So listen to at your own risk. After about a 6-8 month hiatus, the show is back and we got a solid episode for you guys. I've brought on Ryan Dorman from one of my favorite theme park podcasts, Unbuilt, to the show to talk about Disney live-action remakes and all that surrounds them. Also please stick around till the end of the episode for a quick explanation of my absence and a hint at the biggest project I've ever orchestrated.
It's that time of the year again! HHN is finally upon us and y'all already know what that means: Another installment of HHN of Our Nightmares! This year I'm joined by Sterling Denham aka Cryptigutz. The rules are the same as before, we each come up with houses, scarezones, and a show and then we present them all to you. This year must be the year of the gamer because most of our picks, if not all, are video game based!
Hey y'all! It's been awhile hasn't it? This episode isn't anything major, it's just me explaining why I've been gone for so long, that I'm back and that episodes will be dropping very soon. Sorry to keep y'all waiting.
On this episode I'm joined by my OG, Tim Grassey, from the Marty Called Podcast to discuss a few issues of discourse in the community such as sightlines, signs, and other little nitpicks that ultimately aren't a huge deal to anyone but us nerds. But of course the conversation evolves into us addressing bigger problems, talking about EPCOT, and other winding sidebars. Either way, I hope y'all enjoy the conversation.
AYYEEEE FIRST EPISODE OF 2023 ! To kick off the year I brought on comic book writer, Tommy Stella, to the show to talk about our ideas for what an MCU land/attractions and how we'd like to see the MCU handled in the Disney parks. This is something that's been on my list since I visited Avengers Campus last year and I hope y'all get a kick out our picks.
On this episode I'm joined by Marlene Bellissimo from the YouTube channel: Dreamsounds. Me and her discuss a long overdue topic about the Don't Say Gay fiasco, Disney's relationship with queerness, and our own placement in all of it. We also talk about the oddly fateful encounter we had pre-pandemic. This is definitely one of those bare soul episodes and it was great to switch up the pace. Hope y'all enjoy it.
It's 'bout that time y'all! HHN season is upon us; just in time, I'm here with the yearly HHN armchairing episode. This year I'm joined by Emory Alvarado, aka the mother of Lil'Boo, HHN's new mascot. We both go back and forth presenting what we would want our HHN's to look like. We got drag queen witches, gangsta rappers, and even a zombie Rick James! Not gonna lie to y'all, I think this might rival last year's!
Today I got an OG in the Walt Disney World fanbase space, one of the heads of RetroMagic, RetroWDW, and the Lake Buena Vista Historical Society: How Bowers. We got to talking about how he got his start in the community, what he thinks of the new school bloggers and YouTubers, EPCOT being run by PBS, and how RetroMagic was formed. He was a massive get for the show and was on my personal list of dream guests, so I had a blast. I hope y'all enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

On this episode I'm joined by Chris from the youtube channel: OrangeGrove 55. We have a great time talking about all things going on with the parks and everything around it such as the ever polarizing figure Chapek, why Disney isn't firing back at Universal's Epic Universe quite yet, and my run in with Daddy D' Amaro.  Great time all around and can't wait to have him back.
In this episode, I'm joined by Kenneth from his youtube channel: Parallel Disney. I've been following his channel for a while now and decided to reach out and see how he came up with his channel. We talk about how he got into the game, his theme park youtube rival, and what his favorite versions of some Disney park staples are.
This is an exciting episode for me, we got Dave Cobb, master storyteller and father to the best attraction at Universal Studios Florida, Men In Black: Alien Attack. We talk about his arrival in the theme park industry, I gush about MIB, and we get to explore his latest work over in Dubai with the Warner Bros. properties. Oh, and of course, we had to talk a little bit about the twitter EPCOT debate. Solid two-hour conversion, had a great time.
I'm back from a long hiatus. I hope I didn't keep any of y'all waiting. On this episode, in a change of pace, I talk about the state of the show, the starcruiser, the stupid guardians stand, and the proud family revival. It's glad to be back.

Happy birthday to me
On this episode, I'm kicking off the Halloween season with a sequel to one of my shows last year. I'm joined by Hunter Fagan from the podcast Grim Grinning Hosts and we're talking about our picks for what we'd do if we were in charge of HHN this year. We chose 8 houses, 2 scare zones, 1 show, and 1 bar each. Nothing but good picks all around. Hope y'all have fun listening as much as we loved recording it!
Episode 45: Hotel Hoopla

Episode 45: Hotel Hoopla

On this episode I'm joined by John Lynch, friend of the show and an idea powerhouse. Me and him talk about our own dream hotel and resorts for Walt Disney World. Hope y'all like this one.
On this episode of APFATBMD, I'm joined by Storybook Amusement from the youtube channel...storybook amusement? Anyway Storybook has been doing such great work uncovering attractions that were cut from Islands of Adventure very early in the parks life span. The one we're talking about on this episode is the Pandemonium Cartoon Circus show that was located in the now vacant big top stage at Toon Lagoon. Storybook recently found a full recording of the show, and of course me being a huge Toon Lagoon fan, I had to have him on to talk about it.
Sorry to keep you waiting! APFATBMD IS BACK! Starting off with another episode of speaking about diversity in disney, mostly the parks. I'm joined by Fredrick Chambers, host of Imagine Tomorrow. We're talking about the trailer for the new Disney movie Encanto, and how seemingly on instinct people want to throw the movie into Animal Kingdom. Encanto is not alone, we've seen this trend of folks advocating for a new movie to be placed in the parks before the movie has been released or the movie just came out. This leads to a bigger discussion about placing movies where they don't belong.
At the beginning of the year, during the first week of black history month, I posted this open letter to Disney, and since then, there's been some buzz. Although I wrote the letter, I figured it would be great to talk about it with my actual recorded voice so every can hear my tone. Often times stuff on social media can be a misconstrued because we can't hear the tone of the persons voice. If you are someone like me, who got hit with some discrimination at Disney or Universal or any of the places we should be confrontable with you can always reach out and I'll amplify your story. Things like this shouldn't happen at a place that is supposed to be an escape from the woes of regular life.
On this episode I'm joined by Lito Morona to talk about his and my ideas for what a cartoon network based land would look like at a theme park and how it's amazing the channel hasn't had a chance to really shine in a theme park. Had a good time, I know I always say that but it's always a good time talking about things you're passionate about. Speaking of passion, we kind of go off the rails and dip into other channels IPs, but that's just a good sign of communication.
On this episode I'm joined by reoccurring guests: Fredrick Chambers from the podcast: Imagine Tomorrow and Matthew Serrano, director of the Halyx documentary, both, at the same time,  oddly enough for the first time. We go over our picks for what our four worlds would be for our versions of Epic Universe.
