The 93rd Academy Awards are tomorrow (Sunday, April 25th) and just like everything else tainted by COVID this past year, they're certainly going to be weird! If you've completely forgotten about the Oscars and missed all the movies and talk leading up to the big night, fret not. The portal to the multiverse has opened, and gigantic Liev Schreiber is coming for us all! This week we're joined by the incomparable Geordan Tilley (@GeordanATilley) in our very first guest episode. Together we tackle Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) in all its glory, from the animation to the score to the characters to everything that makes it great. Spoiler alert: we love this movie a lot!! Raya and the Last Dragon dropped this past Friday (March 7th) on Disney+ and in theaters around the world where they are open! We think it's...not great, but it did remind us one of Shaleila's faves, the also Steven Knight-penned insane masterpiece SERENITY (2019).
