On this week's episode we have Jenilee Hurly, one the of the co-founders of Ethic Goods! We love discovering brands that are ethical during a time where our clients are looking to investing in more meaningful items to reduce clutter. Ethic Goods provides economic empowerment for women rescued from human trafficking, and those at risk of exploitation. They work primarily in South East Asia, and partner with nonprofits that provide holistic care (counseling, education, and healthcare), focus on strengthening the family unit, and have demonstrated a community centered approach. This week, we are continuing the conversation about organizing finances and investments with Sepehr Irandoost. Sepehr is one of the first four people in an integration team who worked on taking a market manipulation misconduct software to masses. Sepehr started his work in 2012 and the company was acquired by Nasdaq and over the next 7 years the small company in Australia became a 1.2 Billion dollar business. Sepehr was then promoted to the Head of Risk and Surveillance of Nasdaq CS where he held this position until April 2021.
