The Awesomesauce Show by Winter & Nyla

Winter, Nyla, and Isa recap watching the superbowl and the blackout, Nyla runs down her experience at the fastest kid of the world race at the Millrose Games,  the group gives their All-star game predictions on the Sabrina vs Steph 3 point showdown, Isa's ballet and tap recital prep and toepads and band-aids, what's on heavy rotation on their playlists, and getting to the bottom of Winter's shoelace and sneaker drama. Mix in a few jokes, and  dive into a Victoria Monet karaoke minute, and you've got a hilarious, jam-packed episode of fun and awesomesauce. 

Winter and Nyla love big games and the Superbowl is the biggest game on the NFL stage. Welcoming their good friend, Isa, the girls discuss everything superbowl from quarterbacks, Tay Tay, Ursher, and how they're loving flag football (and why do the boys get sooo emotional?) It's an episode full of laughs and fun and of course, awesomesauce. 

Winter and Nyla are back to discuss the round of 16 action and how their predictions hold up as the tournament moves into the quarterfinals.  They even call in a surprise guest to help with their recaps (Konichiwa!)  Who will make it to the next round? But first they chat about their time competing in track and field at the USATF Junior Olympics in Eugene, Oregon and why they couldn't watch all the opening futbol games. Nyla and Winter ring in 2021 with lots of news to share: birthdays, holidays, travels, and so much more.  They ask all their new friends to submit jokes, poems, and stories to their show before wrapping up with a special poem to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr day.

It's october already and you know what that means... Halloween!!! But wait, this year is different...is halloween cancelled? Nyla and Winter discuss their halloween plans and lament over the future of trick or treating.   They also give a shout-out to all the grownups to go out and vote.   They wrap it up with comedy time and a tale of Narwhal and Jelly, reimagined all by Nyla, who takes center stage for story time. 

Summer was fun but the girls are back to school. Like really IN SCHOOL!  They share what it was like in their first week of hybrid learning, how Nyla's liking the "big kids" school, and how they can give parents a lesson in zoom.  Comedy time makes a return and they introduce poetry for story time and wrap it up with a special special surprise (keep listening to after their usual closing!)

It's summer! school may be over but quarantine and social distancing is not.  Winter and Nyla share their end of the year experiences, talk about black lives matter, and throw in their usual comedy and story time for loads of fun.
