In this episode we interview Enna Selmanovic a Toronto native and current NYC resident (we also have the pleasure of her being our roommate!) Enna attended the University of Cincinnati and was a member of the varsity swim team. She majored in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. Enna was on her way towards qualifying for Olympic trials, but in 2016 she injured her back leading to a medical disqualification later on. In the episode we discuss the emotional toll of losing the ability to participate in her sport and subsequently the loss of her identity.
