Description

We’re currently living in a time where there’s seemingly a lot of negativity; on the news, social media. So we’re here to show that’s not the case! We’ll find great things happening around the world and to celebrate positive news, rather than make it a token piece at the end of a news bulletin. We’ll be talking to each other, as well as guests, and see how they’re celebrating positivity. This won’t be preachy, it won’t be political; our plan is to be positive and hopefully have a good laugh along the way. His name's Kez P. And his name's Ben P. And this is 2 P's In A Pod.

This week we have a special guest indeed. We chat to Deborah Haylett of Cafe Revival which is a local mental health social enterprise set up by MIND in Bexley and work in support of East Kent Mind based in our little town in Whitstable. They have recently been told with minimal warning that they are being evicted from their space, removing an absolute pillar of our community. So we here at 2 P's In A Pod, we wanted to showcase all the positive things they are doing and how they help to look after so many people. Our hope is that you, our listeners, can help support Cafe Revival by helping to campaign and keep this amazing cafe in the community where it belongs. Finally we decided as this episode is dedicated to our local community, that we should have some local good news too.  Show Links Cafe Revival Website https://www.revivalkent.co.uk/ Cafe Revival Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/caferevivalatthehorsebridge
