This is our first podcast with hockey managers Dave Walker, Jon Mainberger, Dean Wilson, and Vince Valles. They sat down to discuss the current climate of hockey in SoCal along with the impact that COVID-19 has had on The Rinks & Great Park Ice.
We're back with Episode 2 of our SoCal Hockey Hotline Podcast! This episode features special guest Rick Hutchinson, Hockey Director for The Rinks & Great Park Ice. It's episode 4 and we have former NHL player and Director of Coaches for the Jr. Ducks, Craig Johnson on the podcast! He discusses his career, the growth of hockey in the region and things to consider when it comes to youth hockey player's development.
We're back with episode 5 with special guest Ken Martel! Ken is the USA Hockey Technical Director for the American Development Model. He gave great insight into USA statistics on player development and trends they have seen from youth to NHL players.
Episode 6 of our podcast featured some of our Adult Hockey Coordinators Brad Sherrick, and Darren Ong. They discussed how they have been handling the situation around COVID-19 and keeping in contact with teams at their facilities.

Episode 9 of the podcast features former Lady Duck, U.S. Olympian and current Boston College Ice Hockey Player, Cayla Barnes! She discusses her time playing in our grassroots programs along with her experiences of being on the US Women's National Team along with playing for Boston College! Check it out. 
Episode 10 of the pod brings us Commissioner of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League! He answered questions about the league currently and how far it has come to give players the opportunity to play hockey for their school!  
In episode 11 of the pod, our hosts interview former Jr Duck, 2019 NHL First Round Draft Pick, and Current Minnesota Gopher Defensemen Ryan Johnson! He tells us about his journey so far, how he's staying occupied during this downtime and what it was like growing up with his dad playing in the NHL. Give it a listen!

We're back with another episode of The Rinks & Great Park Ice Podcast! May is AAPI Heritage month and to celebrate we brought on Jr Ducks 16aaa Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel, Alex Kim! From the figure skating side, we interviewed our very own Director of Figure Skating, Alex Chang!
