In this episode of Best Virginia, I discuss the events surrounding the 1970 Marshall University plane crash, which claimed the lives of 75 people, including most of the University's football team and coaching staff. Today marks the 50th anniversary of this tragic event. At the end of the episode, I ask you to join me in a moment of silence to honor those that lost their lives.
