Description

Being struck by the phrase "living the real" in a book he read years ago, Matt started processing his life through these three words. It wasn't long before he realized he repeatedly fell short of living a life evoking the same emotion that phrase conveyed. Thus started Matt's search for how to live a life that represented what those words surfaced in him. What came from that was his 3-M framework: Margin, Momentum and Maintenance.Join Matt as he unlocks the power of his 3-M framework through story and reflection.

You can snag it for FREE here. Matt also will provide a short video tutorial to show you how he uses templates like this one regularly in his life with a journal application called DayOne.    Please consider supporting this podcast:Give monthly (as little as $5 a month) on our Patreon Page - https://www.patreon.com/ltrGive a one time gift through Venmo at @mattboettgerGive a one time gift through PayPal here - https://paypal.me/mattboettgerThings Discussed In Episode:The Gottman InstituteThe Second Mountain by David BrooksDavid Brooks speaks at the Leo Hill Leadership Speaker Series at the University of Colorado Boulder.Support the show

Matt shows the consequences of a life without a focus on maintenance. Do you sometimes experience life as if it is an incredible mountain to climb? Do you feel like you are continuously having to clean up messes in your own life? Do you feel as if life has you by the throat? Chances are that these experiences are from a lack of focus on maintenance. Listen, feel empathy, and now take action! Please consider supporting this podcast:Give monthly (as little as $5 a month) on our Patreon Page - https://www.patreon.com/ltrGive a one time gift through Venmo at @mattboettgerGive a one time gift through PayPal here - https://paypal.me/mattboettgerDownload Matt's "Getting Started" Maintenance Checklist  HERE - http://livingthereal.com/maintenancechecklistSupport the show
