Understanding the thyroid is one of the most important things women can do, especially in perimenopause and menopause. There are so many misconceptions surrounding the thyroid, including appropriate testing, supplements, medications, diet, lifestyle, the different causes, and contributing factors to thyroid dysfunction. The guidance people receive from their healthcare providers often leave them confused, and often they still don’t feel well and symptoms persist despite being on medication to treat their thyroid disorder. Dr. Mazza is triple board-certified in endocrinology, internal medicine, and anti-aging and regenerative medicine. I was happy to have Gin Stephens back on the podcast! Our first interview on intermittent fasting and her book, Fast. Feast. In this episode, I was fortunate to interview Brian Ferguson, the founder and CEO of Arena Labs, a company pioneering the field of high performance medicine, which brings the science of world-class performance, creative mastery, and elite teams into modern medicine.
