On this episode, I have special guest (and my ace coaching client!), Katrina Weller - a Grief & Loss Specialist, Speaker and the founder of the Grow with Grief hub. We discussed our experiences with grief and loss, reflecting on the impact it has had on our lives and relationships. We share the duality of emotions, the ongoing waves of grief, and the longing for the presence of our loved ones who have passed away.We dive deep into various aspects of grief, including the myths surrounding it. There is no timeline for grief, grief is not limited to death, and perhaps the five stages of grief are not a one-size-fits-all experience! If you're interested in Katrina's upcoming event, 'Grief Talks - Moments that Matter' in Melbourne this month (August 2023), please REGISTER FOR FREE here! Erin Deering was looking for a bikini to wear on the beach on a second date with her now ex-partner. Craig Ellis, but couldn’t find anything under $100 that didn’t have Hawaain flowers on it. Little did she know, she would go on to start a multimillion-dollar bikini business known as Triangl – and take it global. Today, Triangl is sold in over 100 countries and boasts 2.4 million Instagram followers. The company has reported selling around 45,000 bikinis a month, and in 2019, both co-founders were ranked on Australian rich lists with an estimated net worth of $35 million.Since leaving the brand in 2018, Erin Deering is now a passionate Holistic Mentor, Educator & Speaker. TRIGGER WARNING: This episode has discussions around suicide. This week I am back with an episode of my own lived experience and journey through mental health, belonging and losing my late partner to suicide.Between June 14th and June 20th, it is Men’s Mental Health Week in Australia. In most countries around the world, men’s mental health is generally poorer than that of females mental health. More males die earlier, more males have accidents, more males suffer from lifestyle health conditions and more males take their own lives. In this episode, I encourage you to open up and I lead by example. This episode reminds us all that it is okay to not be okay, but we must endure and weather the storms. If you, or anyone you care for, is in need of support, please reach out to Lifeline by phone on 13 11 14 (24 hours a day) or message a Lifeline Crisis Supporter on 0477 13 11 14 (6pm – midnight every night).***If you love this episode, please help share the knowledge and podcast to your community!
