Description

In a world obsessed with immediacy, certainty and quick fixes, THE CLIMB is curious about purpose, the process, a more cosmic perspective, sustainability and peace. Born out of Ascent Soccer’s character development program in sub-Saharan Africa, we like to think of THE CLIMB as simply ‘conversations for our kids’ and a companion to our ever-evolving curriculum on life and unlocking potential. We also hope it can be a kind of accelerated wisdom for all of us, where we’ll lean on experienced professionals and experts to explore big ideas -- in an attempt at making them accessible, actionable and, wait for it, fun. And let’s be honest, reaching the top of the mountain doesn’t really matter, if you’re not paying attention to, and enjoying, THE CLIMB. -- (Music: Lioness (Instrumental) by DayFox https://soundcloud.com/dayfoxFree Download / Stream: https://bit.ly/lioness-instrumentalMusic promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/ZATMh49j49M)

Today on The Climb, Adrian & George are joined by Arora Akanksha.Arora Akanksha believes that the United Nations needs a shake-up, and that’s why, as a 34-year-old, she is running for UN Secretary General.  Her critics point to her age and lack of diplomatic experience, two things Arora believes make her the perfect candidate for an organization that has lost its way.
