In podcasting, you're bringing out different elements of a story or a topic that can be focused on. Many of the best performers create their own stories for the audience. People come into the podcasting space often with too many ideas and they don't have real clarity on what they really want to talk about.  The different tools to create memberships and have two-way communication to grow your audience. Make sure you stay consistent because if you show up at the same time every week, people will get used to you doing it. Acknowledge people's names so that next time those people are going to be back, they're going to tell somebody else. If you're not getting 20,000 downloads after three or four weeks, an episode being out, you're not really going to see a good CPM number.  How long are people listening to your episode? Where are they dropping off? Where to run your podcast ads if you have an ad budget? Running giveaways to get your audience to help promote your show NOTABLE QUOTES: [06:49] - “In any form of podcasting, you have to remember that you're the guide.” - Danny Ozment [13:45] - “As long as you're always engaging your audience, your audience will continue to grow because you're giving your current audience what they're interested in.” - Danny Ozment [16:15] - “Be an advocate for your audience.” - Billy Samoa [42:33] - “We connect on a human level with other people and a podcast is a vehicle that allows us to show that shared humanity.” - Billy Samoa USEFUL RESOURCES AND LINKS MENTIONED: Podcast Strategies: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/podcast-strategies-for-growing-your-business-community/id1401053768 Emerald City Productions: https://emeraldcitypro.com/ Danny’s Podcast Roadmap: https://dannyozment.com/roadmap CONNECT WITH ME: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/billysamoa/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/billysamoa/ SUPPORT THE SHOW:  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fortheloveofpodcast_/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/loveofpodcast_ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ForTheLoveOfPodcast Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWdRfZ6kKlmQw2f5P47Rizg LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/forthe-love-of-podcast/ Show your love: https://fortheloveofpodcast.com/donate/ Learn more about your ad choices.
