Let's face it, 2020 was a year like no other. A year the world, and its economy, ground to halt in the wake of a pandemic. With 2020 in the rear view mirror and 2021 rolling on, I want to take you on a quick tour of some key financial events from last year, so we can build on what's happened and make our money work for us. In "Discussing the fund-amentals" we, unsurprisingly, are getting to the bottom of exactly what funds are. Funds are pools of investors' money which make achieving high amounts of diversification accessible to everyone. For this reason, it is essential that we use funds when investing our money. I explain why this is in greater detail and then go on to talk about the different types of funds: active funds and passive funds. Running through the pros and cons for both investment approaches. Credit is our topic of conversation for this episode of The Wiser Money Podcast, where we get to the bottom of what credit actually is and go on to discuss how best to manage our credit.
