In this episode I welcome James Munro to the podcast. James is a singer, song writer and acoustic guitarist.James is influenced by musicians like Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and The Beatles and his music is smooth, soulful, and full of character. His singing voice is calm and effortless with some real punch when he wants you to feel it, and it compliments his songwriting style perfectly. Helen is a singer, guitarist, bassist and song writer.Helen is originally from Tennessee, before moving to Bollington and become a part of the local music scene. In this episode I welcome Rob Sutcliffe to the podcast. Rob is a bassist, guitarist, singer, song writer and silly goose. I first met Rob at college and we quickly became good friends over our love of Green Day and pop punk. We formed a band called "Do It Doug" and played shows in college, and out in Manchester city centre. In this episode I welcome Oliver Marshall to the podcast.Oli is a unique guitarist who uses fingerpicking techniques instead of a plectrum. I first met him, and played with him in college, where it was quickly obvious that this guy was something different. I love his writing style, its always been so unusual without being obscure or inaccessible. It's folksy and simple but so much more complex when you analyze what he's doing.
