Spooky Tuesday — A Horror Movie Podcast

Do you know what time of year it is, Spookies? It's the fifth Tuesday of April — and the last Tuesday before May. If you know what that means, then you and Chelsea must seriously be on the same wavelength, because this week's episode of Spooky Tuesday has been years in the making. In honor of the bonus episode slot that happens to fall before the first Monday of May — aka the annual Met Gala — it's time we do Ocean's 8 (2018). Next week, all of our favorite celebs will hit the red carpet for a fabulous costume (institute) party, and this week, we're gonna watch about half of them star in a heist flick using that same setting. And not just any heist flick. This Sandra Bullock-Cate Blanchett-Rihanna-Anne Hathaway-Sarah Paulson-Mindy Kaling-Awkwafina-Helena Bonham Carter-led film was one of the big girl boss reboots to hit the silver screen, and we're ready to debate whether it stuck the landing. It's more than a little unfortunate that when you ask someone if they've seen Frozen (2010), you have to first clarify that you don't mean the Disney princess movie.
