He joined INEOS, a family business, when he left in 2013, moving to Grangemouth & Aberdeen to work for INEOS O&P for 5 years. After that George moved to London to work as a Gas Trader (propane, butane, ethane) in Canary Wharf, before moving to INEOS’ central London office. After 3 years of trading, George moved back into the core of the INEOS business to run INEOS Compounds, a PVC Compounding business. Two years after, when the first wave of the pandemic came to the UK, George started INEOS Hygienics, and INEOS Healthcare business, using INEOS manufactured raw materials, Ethanol, IPA, to produce more than 4 million bottles for free to the NHS and European hospitals, of sanitiser. While at Bath, his two placements in Mumbai and at L’Oreal in London helped him land a job at Google. He spent 3 years in Dublin supporting Google’s advertising clients as an Account Manager, before being transferred to the London Headquarters as a Sales Strategy & Operations Manager. Thanks to Google’s geo-flexibility during the COVID-19 pandemic, Romain has been working remotely for over a year from his home country, France.
