Ofu Obekpa is a Nigerian-American actor, writer and director on a mission to make his own way into Hollywood. In this interview, he talks about going from growing up in Nigeria to being involved in Marvel productions as a production assistant, then as an actor plus directing the likes of Kevin Nash and Conphidance on his own project Klippers.
Adetokumboh M'Cormack (Battle: Los Angeles, Castlevania, Blood of Zeus) is a brilliant Sierra Leonean actor, voice-actor and director with a notable body of work. He joins us to talk about the evolution of his journey from television and film to animation and how his desire to tell impactful African stories led to him directing his short film, The German King.
Francis Y Brown (CEO of AnimaxFYB Studios) is an animator and director who is passionate about telling the African story. His rags to not-rags story of how he went from being a kid who would create art with mosquito blood and charcoal to being inspired by Walt Disney and Jeff Lew (Killer Bean) to become one of Ghana's notable animators is an inspiration.We discuss his journey, his influences and his Amazon Prime Video deal for his kids show Mmofra.  
Zimbabwean actress Sibongile Mlambo (Siren, Lost in Space, Honey 3: Dare to Dance) joins us to talk about going from growing up in Zimbabwe to being an African actress in Hollywood with all its blessings and challenges - black hair issues ladies!We dive into her time as one of the "Merms" on Freeform's 'Siren' and how she once received career advice from Chadwick Boseman who played her onscreen brother in 'Message from the King'.
