Many resources in our classrooms have become digital and that is good for everyone! Digital means less paper and it is more interactive for your students. One great asset for digital resources for your classroom is Boom Card Decks. What Are Boom Cards?Boom Cards are one way for teachers to create interactive lessons. They are interactive slides you create through the Boom Cards website about any topic you would like. Every grade level and subject can benefit from the use of Boom Card Decks and kids like the interactive nature. They can be used through any device with internet access and can be attached to platforms like Google Classroom so that your students have access for distance learning as well. How Are Boom Cards Good for Teachers?Boom Cards feel like more of a game than an assignment for your students. They provide teachers with a new and different way of presenting information and assessments. Boom Cards are interactive, paperless, and self-grading to save precious time and money. Boom Cards are especially useful when you are needing to gauge your students’ understanding on a specific topic. Through a Boom Card Deck you can see what your students already know and what they need to learn. By utilizing the information Boom Cards provides of your students’ progress, you can tailor classes for your students. Why Do Your Students Like Boom Cards?Boom Card Decks allow your students to engage in the material in a different way. They allow your students to choose their own answers and demonstrate what they know about a topic. Boom Cards are exciting and different and your students will be begging for the next assignment they can do through a Boom Card Deck. Using Boom CardsBoom Card Decks are simple to make.
