Welcome back, Atomic Zero fans! It's a hot October, but we're here to keep you cool with a jam-packed episode. In this episode, we'll talk about:Republican Primary Debate: The second Republican primary debate was a heated affair, with no clear winner emerging. The candidates clashed on a range of issues, including immigration, the economy, and foreign policy.Yaroslav Hunka: On September 22, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the Canadian House of Commons. After his speech, the Speaker of the House, Anthony Rota, introduced Yaroslav Hunka, a 98-year-old war veteran, and invited the House to give him a standing ovation. However, it was later revealed that Hunka had served in the 14th Waffen Division of the SS, a Nazi unit that was responsible for war crimes during World War II. Rota was unaware of Hunka's past when he invited him to Parliament. The incident sparked widespread outrage, and Rota resigned as Speaker of the House on September 27, 2023. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also apologized for the incident.Russell Brand: Russell Brand is a British comedian, actor, and YouTuber. He is currently on tour with his new show, "Russell Brand: Revelation." Vasculitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the blood vessels. Kutcher said that the disease caused him to lose his vision, hearing, and balance. He also said that he had to undergo a year of treatment to recover.Grinds My GearsSnow White and Disney: There has been some controversy recently surrounding the upcoming live-action remake of the Disney classic "Snow White." Some people have criticized the film for its casting choices, while others have defended it.SF Drug Test for Welfare Recipients: The city of San Francisco is considering requiring welfare recipients to undergo drug tests. This proposal has been met with mixed reactions. Some people argue that it is necessary to ensure that taxpayer money is being used responsibly, while others argue that it is discriminatory and stigmatizing. You can find out more about Steve Lee@ http://www.steveleecomedy.comPlease Subscribe & Follow The Atomic Zero Show @:Twitter: twitter.com/atomiczeroshowFacebook: facebook.com/AtomicZeroShowInstagram: instagram.com/atomiczeroshowEmail: atomiczeroshow@gmail.com~James BanhYou can find Willy Chen @:willychenphotography.com/Chief Editor:~JumpSupport the show
Atomic Zero LMT #90 August

Atomic Zero LMT #90 August

2023-09-0202:52:04

Welcome back Atomic Zero Fans! It's been a wild month, with the Republican primary debates heating up, Donald Trump getting a mugshot, and the war in Ukraine still raging. We'll also be discussing the mysterious events in Lahaina, Hawaii, and whether or not we're talking about Hunter Biden enough. Plus, we'll take a look at the latest union strikes. The Republican primary debates have been a spectacle, with the candidates trading barbs and making outlandish claims. Former President Donald Trump has been the star of the show, but he's not the only one with a shot at the nomination. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and former Vice President Mike Pence are all in the mix.Donald Trump's mugshot was a reminder that he's still a powerful figure in American politics. The mugshot was taken after Trump was arrested for his role in the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Trump has denied any wrongdoing, but the mugshot is a reminder that he's not above the law.The mysterious events in Lahaina, Hawaii, have left residents and tourists alike puzzled. A wildfire swept through the town, destroying homes and businesses. But the cause of the fire is still unknown. Some residents believe that the fire was deliberately set, while others believe that it was an accident.Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine have been the subject of much scrutiny. Hunter Biden served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company while his father, President Joe Biden, was vice president. Some people have accused Hunter Biden of using his father's position to enrich himself. But there is no evidence to support these accusations.Union strikes are on the rise in the United States. Workers are striking for better wages, benefits, and working conditions. The strikes are a sign of the growing frustration among working people. You can follow Edwin Li @:Edwinlicomedy.comYouTube: www.youtube.com/user/EdwinlicomedyTwitter: EdwinlicomedyYou can follow Augustus Tagaro @Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/augustustagaro/https://www.theinjex.com/Please Subscribe & Follow The Atomic Zero Show @:Twitter: twitter.com/atomiczeroshowFacebook: facebook.com/AtomicZeroShowInstagram: instagram.com/atomiczeroshowEmail: atomiczeroshow@gmail.com~James BanhYou can find Willy Chen @:willychenphotography.com/Chief Editor:~JumpSupport the show

Happy New Year! Happy 2023 Atomic Zero Fans! Join us this week: Peter Kageyama is a third generation Japanese American – a sansei. Heis a former Senior Fellow with the Alliance for Innovation and the authorof four nonfiction books on cities and urban development.Peter lives in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida with his wife, LisaWannemacher and their dog, Dobby. Hunters Point is his first novel. In 1958, San Francisco was in the midst of an economic, demographic and cultural growth. Yet many still felt like outsiders to that prosperity and when they needed help, they turn to Kats Takemoto, the Nisei private detective known as a friend to the underdog communities of the Bay Area. Kats will be drawn into a deadly environmental coverup involving the US Navy, the government and the West Coast underworld. The massive naval base at Hunter Point is far more than it appears and the work there threatens the entire region with deadly consequences. The story takes us to Hollywood movie sets, Beat poetry readings, the industrial heart of San Francisco and the battlefields of Europe during the Second World War as Kats and his friends search for the answers to who is poisoning the waters of San Francisco Bay and why land is being secretly being acquired in the Bayfront Heights neighborhood. This rousing tale weaves real events and real people into an all too plausible tale of cover-up, betrayal and blackmail. You can get a copy of Hunters Point on Amazon or by the Authors website. AUTHOR WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA HANDLESAuthor website: www.peterkageyama.comFacebook: /peterkageyamaTwitter: @pkageyamaInstagram: @pkageyamaPlease Subscribe & Follow The Atomic Zero Show:Twitter: twitter.com/atomiczeroshowFacebook: facebook.com/AtomicZeroShowInstagram: instagram.com/atomiczeroshowEmail: atomiczeroshow@gmail.com~James BanhYou can find Willy Chen @:willychenphotography.com/Chief Editor:~JumpSupport the show
