Goodbye to the vilest of scum, the corrupt double headed snake of Gladys Berejiklian and John Barilaro (NSW Premier and Deputy Premier). Not goodbye to the podcast, but a pause for the time being.Keep supporting if you're a fan, and head over to @riothousecomedy and @jkyeah.
A Sydney comedy phenom, Artie Gallagher is known for being loud, colourful and infectiously energetic. He also proudly wears his alumni colours for one of the most "prestigious" private schools in the country, whereas I was kicked out of that school 15 years earlier and have anything but pride for my time there. This episode explores the experience of two comedians at the same very strict, religious school over a decade apart, and the chance that maybe, it's not such a hellhole of patriarchal, colonial, aristocratic superiority and potential child abuse after all.Is it all just fun and games, a few extra toys and a bit of history? Is it boys being boys? Is tradition infallible? Is it worth the F**king price tag and the extra tax dollars they are handed by other alums and wealthy friends in government? Is the practice of separating genders, fostering a sense of otherness, inflating parochial affection and preaching vague ideals of general morality as a unique set of values only adhered or aspired to by the wealthy and privileged within a particular religious denomination, in a particular set of postcode... is that something we should revere in the 21st century?Give him some love:@good_times_with_gman on InstagramAND please Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JKYeah on Instagram @JarredKeaneYeah  on Twitter

My first return guest is here. A good friend of the show, Marty Bright is a comedian, poet, singer, free spirit and fellow movie maniac. His first appearance was over Zoom during the pandemic's height while he was in another country, now he's in the building and together, we react to songs that we consider teenage classics from the 90s/00s - our youth. What made the list? Was it on your list? How many of them are directly from a teen movie? Find out all this and more... well not that much more, it's pretty much all we talk about.Give him some love:@MartyIsBright on Instagram@comedymartybright on FacebookAND please Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JKYeah on Instagram @JarredKeaneYeah  on Twitter
Ever wanted to know how this Podcast came to be? Or what it's like to visit Cuba?Well, you're in luck. This week I'm trying out the Solo format again.  Scheduling conflicts happened again and they will no doubt return throughout the course of the show, so I hope you enjoy these occasional breaks from the routine. It's a chance to let me ramble and test out ideas, share stories I don't normally tell other people, and to answer those questions I don't usually get asked myself.Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JarredKeaneYeah and @JKYeah on Twitter and Instagram

Peter Meisel is a born and raised New Yorker from Stuyvesant town, but he left his home for a job teaching in Australia when he was just in his 20s. More than forty years have passed and we're still stuck with him. It was a bit of a fraught journey to get him here and along the way the man became a comedian and retired early from teaching as a result. Now he's here to tell the younger generations to stop f**king bitching and moaning. You should follow his social media for genuinely creative content and to find out where you can see him live next, including at @RiotHouseComedy in the near future.@Peter.Meisel on Twitter & Instagram@Peter Meisel on FacebookPlease Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JKYeah on Instagram @JarredKeaneYeah  on Twitter
A provocative and at times controversial comedian, Shayne Hunter is a former chess champion and anarchist, not to mention all round fascinating person.  He's a freight train of ideas and jokes that you just have to learn how to brace yourself for. Recently he's been touring a show that sparks a shared interest in the general topic of History. We sat down to talk about it, and his newfound acceptance of his now legit, ADD condition."Shayne Hunter wanted to write some comedy about his hometown and it turns out that the truth is stranger than anything he could have invented. So instead of lying for your entertainment, he learned how to read, got stuck into some books, talked to some experts and put it all together to teach you everything you need to know about our hectic history."You should follow his social media for genuinely creative content and to find out where you can see him live next, including at @RiotHouseComedy in the near future.@ShayneHunterComedy on Instagram@ShayneHunterLOL on TwitterPlease Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JKYeah on Instagram @JarredKeaneYeah  on Twitter

Alia Lievore is a rising comedian in Sydney with a terrible secret... Her childhood was... quite pleasant and she still gets along with her family very well. It's a shocking and unusual state of affairs for such a funny lady, and we dive into how that came to be.There is also a sad technical issue that cut this podcast short, but we've made up for that with another instalment of the Neighbours Saga. Sam Kissajukian has faced death more than the average person and definitely more than the average comedian. Thankfully, he's not your average comedian or person, so he's lived to tell the tales in a number of sell out festival shows in Australia and Europe, now he's on the podcast to explore some of those events and his philosophy. You should follow his social media for genuinely creative content and to find out where you can see him live next, including at @RiotHouseComedy in the near future.@SamKissajukian on Instagram@SamKissaju on Twitter@SamKissajukianComedy on FacebookPlease Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JKYeah on Instagram @JarredKeaneYeah  on Twitter
Jamal may not have charmed his way into Harvard Law School to spite an ex, but he is a lot more relevant and funnier than that old Reese Witherspoon movie. You could argue that WandaVision is a better reference but Vision-Impaired is a mouthful and you know it. Jamal Abdul is a brilliant rising comic from Sydney's southern sister, Wollongong, and in this episode we touch on his impairment, how its impacted his life and what matters most to him, comedy.Don't miss your chance to see Jamal at this year's Sydney Comedy Festival alongside GYA alum Madeleine Stewart (@miss_madi_cakes): https://www.factorytheatre.com.au/event/jamal-friends-with-government-benefits/Please Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@JamalGotJokes on Twitter & Instagram@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JarredKeaneYeah and @JKYeah on Twitter and Instagram
This week's guest is Adam Boys, a filmmaker and hilarious friend who's AFTRS Graduate film had its World Premiere at the 37th annual Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFF). The Horror-Comedy "Brunch Shift Massacre" has been a crowd favourite everywhere its been screen thanks in large part to the cathartic experience of every hospitality worker who's wanted to straight up murder annoying customers. We veer well off the topic of film and touch on how rage and controlling one's emotions is a difficult thing to do. Sometimes you just don't talk about those things, but in this episode, I'm glad I asked...Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.com@TheAdamBoys on Twitter & Instagram@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JarredKeaneYeah and @JKYeah on Twitter and Instagram

Jacques Barrett is known for his relentless comedic skill, walking a razor's edge of offensive and insightful. Don't let his French, sophisticated name fool you, he is from rural and suburban Queensland with not a lick of European upbringing and it's one of the many things that gave him the perfect sized and weighted chip on his shoulder to create a comedy powerhouse that still too few Australians know and love as much as I do. Rate & Review wherever you get your podcasts, and reach out to us if you have questions you'd like to ask yourselves - TheGYApod@gmail.comGo to jbcomedy.net/ for all things Jacques, including tour dates and tickets.@JBChampioni on Twitter & Instagram@TheGYApod on Twitter & Instagram@JarredKeaneYeah and @JKYeah on Twitter and Instagram
