The resurrection event is the most important and powerful event in human history. It stands as an earth-shattering benchmark of hope for the human race, for in this event, not only is the god of this world put on notice that a creation-wide restoration is underway, but our Maker stood up for His people in the most powerful way possible. This awe inspiring moment in human history was brought to us all by the mighty hand and heart of God and the only thing that will equal its power and scope will be the return of Jesus Christ. This is the Way.
In this podcast we see that in the Old Testament as God Almighty was leading the Israelites out of Egypt, a very interesting drama began to unfold. That drama found its resolution in Palm Sunday and the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Recently I began a study on the original languages of the text of scripture. With renewed understanding I have been amazed as the scriptures have become more powerfully alive than before, with new meaning and context bringing insight and increased awe of Who He is. If there is one thing that I have been left with it is this…I am in awe of Jesus Christ. More so today than ever before.
In this episode, we rejoin several stories in the Bible that lead us to realize that our security comes from the Lord, whether we have all of our challenges handled, or not. And if we do not, our supply of hope and peace comes from THE supernatural Source.

Many years ago our nation's first President, George Washington made a Thanksgiving Day proclamation, calling upon the nation to thank the Lord for His intervention on our behalf in some of the darkest days of our history. Revival is coming. It is being said more and more often. People are praying, day in and day out. We are seeing an increased hunger all over the world for a move of God that shakes the nations. We believe that it is on the way. We hope that you are all being encouraged in this daily.
What does it take to be revived? What are we asking God to revive? What does it look like when we find the freedom that has been promised but perhaps long delayed? Looking in the mirror isn’t always easy, but doing this in the light of God brings redemption and freedom, and it’s worth it every time.
So many of us have been taught from early on in life to give God our best. But what we don’tknow is how to give God our worst as an act of worship. This leads to repentance and then, true freedom. There is nothing like being able to be transparent with your Maker.
The idea of being crucified with Christ has been a source of mystery for many years. We’ve allhad theories, but maybe we’ve made surrender harder than it needs to be and gotten in our own way. Learning to surrender to His grace can cause even the hardest heart to yield, and we’re so happy to do so when we encounter Him.
John Wesley was an ordained minister, yet had no real relationship with God, and he had nounderstanding of why he was so dead inside. In a soft and subtle way, God came to him andredeemed his life in one powerful moment. All the years of his life had led here, and when Godcame to Wesley, it was all that he needed.
