Description

In the year 2020, we saw the beginnings of an awakening all over the world. There was tremendous disruption in most people’s lives. We saw a powerful movement of worship begin. We saw thousands of people looking for truth. We heard many people cry out for a fresh move of God in the earth. We often say that hindsight is 20/20, and so it is with that in mind that we take a look behind us and see with clarity what God has begun to bring together to build to advance His Kingdom. We use this perspective as we look toward the future.Learn more about the revival prayer movement by visiting www.REVIVALin2020.org

The Resurrection

The Resurrection

2023-04-0912:03

The resurrection event is the most important and powerful event in human history. It stands as an earth-shattering benchmark of hope for the human race, for in this event, not only is the god of this world put on notice that a creation-wide restoration is underway, but our Maker stood up for His people in the most powerful way possible. This awe inspiring moment in human history was brought to us all by the mighty hand and heart of God and the only thing that will equal its power and scope will be the return of Jesus Christ. This is the Way.
Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday

2023-04-0212:01

In this podcast we see that in the Old Testament as God Almighty was leading the Israelites out of Egypt, a very interesting drama began to unfold. That drama found its resolution in Palm Sunday and the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Recently I began a study on the original languages of the text of scripture. With renewed understanding I have been amazed as the scriptures have become more powerfully alive than before, with new meaning and context bringing insight and increased awe of Who He is. If there is one thing that I have been left with it is this…I am in awe of Jesus Christ. More so today than ever before.
In this episode, we rejoin several stories in the Bible that lead us to realize that our security comes from the Lord, whether we have all of our challenges handled, or not. And if we do not, our supply of hope and peace comes from THE supernatural Source.

The Power of the Story

2023-03-0614:07

Stories can bring both life and death. They can build up or tear down. They can distract, deflect or ring true. They can make sense or not. Stories, along with the power that myth presents, continue to unfold among us today. In this episode Wes talks about the best story ever.
The Asbury Revival

The Asbury Revival

2023-02-2717:38

The news cycles continue to cover the Asbury Revival, and reports are coming out of other places as well indicating that the Holy Spirit might be on the move. We need to approach this subject with respect, and learn what we need to learn, and follow. A prayerful approach knowing that God is always a surprise, we can approach this with thankful and wise hearts.
Once, a long time ago, 120 people gathered in a room and obediently waited for a dramatic demonstration of God's power. It did indeed come, and the world has not been the same since. Indeed, this power came like a fire, and those fires are still burning and have not gone out.
Thanksgiving Prayer

Thanksgiving Prayer

2021-11-2506:08

Many years ago our nation's first President, George Washington made a Thanksgiving Day proclamation, calling upon the nation to thank the Lord for His intervention on our behalf in some of the darkest days of our history.  In this episode, we reflect on this proclamation and then add our own prayer of thanks offered to the Lord this Thanksgiving season.
We routinely can find ourselves overwhelmed with all that is going on culturally these days. When we move to our knees daily, seeking His Presence, we often find that He gives us hope. The hope that God gives us will not ultimately disappoint us and we will find that operating in His hope will lift our burdens and show us the true emotional temperature of our particular situations.
Faith is a mechanism that God gives us to provide us with the ability to see things the way that He does and to respond according to what we’ve been shown. Having His perspective is what leads us to doing the things that He is calling us to do and to live the way that He’s calling us to live.
This is a prayer of repentance before God. It is a plea to restore our nation from where we have fallen, asking Him to expose the darkness in our lives and in our country, and restore America to what He has called it to be.

Personal Revival

Personal Revival

What does it take to be revived? What are we asking God to revive? What does it look like when we find the freedom that has been promised but perhaps long delayed? Looking in the mirror isn’t always easy, but doing this in the light of God brings redemption and freedom, and it’s worth it every time.
Giving God Your Worst

Giving God Your Worst

2021-01-0312:56

So many of us have been taught from early on in life to give God our best. But what we don’tknow is how to give God our worst as an act of worship. This leads to repentance and then, true freedom. There is nothing like being able to be transparent with your Maker.
Crucified with Christ

Crucified with Christ

2020-12-2718:43

The idea of being crucified with Christ has been a source of mystery for many years. We’ve allhad theories, but maybe we’ve made surrender harder than it needs to be and gotten in our own way. Learning to surrender to His grace can cause even the hardest heart to yield, and we’re so happy to do so when we encounter Him.
