Although we were stranded for 46 hours in a blizzard, that led to the best ride I’ve ever gotten.
In 1975, after hitchhiking across the US from Connecticut, we arrived in San Francisco, moved into a hippie commune and started learning how to navigate this new world.
Every day my mind was being blown away by the unusual people I was meeting and the new things that I was learning and doing.
We decided to settle in Santa Cruz, California long enough to have our baby. Then, it was time to plan a small wedding.
A puppy, a trip to Disneyland and a baby.
I was getting the education of a lifetime.
Too many shows to remember and many unbelievable adventures were some highlights from that time.
This is actually episode 11, not #12.
The gypsy life continues.
After living back in Connecticut for a while, we realized that it was time to move back to the west coast where we felt more at home.
In this episode, after a couple of unexpected changes, we start our next cross-country trip.
