This, That, & The Other

It's almost February and so why not talk about the resolutions we never really made. Fiachra and Laura talk about resolutions, intentions, and practices they've set and met (or not) in the past + what they might be working towards in 2021.

From first Christmases home in Ireland and Canada, to the 12 pubs and being snowed in the airports on a 6-day layover -- we have quite a few fond and funny (now) memories to look back on. We hope you and yours have a safe & joyful holiday season, and are able to find comfort and chill wherever you may be. Happy Christmas! We've been together much longer than a decade, but thought we'd reflect back to our wedding 10 years ago, how we met, and all that fun stuff sprinkled with some wedding/marriage advice -- sort of. We started looking at these questions for relationships and realized that these might be some of the same things you would want to know in any meaningful friendship. We chat about how we meet, stay connected to, and maintain "close" ties when we have to be socially/physically distant. This is not just a pandemic issue when you are expats living in America. 

Long story short, after 12 years of living in Texas we sold the house and now are living up in WA just north of Seattle. Here's the episode about this adventure of moving in a pandemic, and other tales of moving house from long ago. 

We both enjoy cooking for friends & family -- sometimes.
