ABOUT HAZELHazel Findlay has been climbing for 25 of her 31 years, and started out trad climbing on the limestone sea cliffs of Pembrokeshire. In her youth she enjoyed competition climbing - she was the British junior champion six times - but at 16 decided to give it up to focus on climbing on rock, especially trad climbing which is her main passion. Hazel has been a full time climber for the last eight years, which has allowed her to travel all over the world climbing interesting pieces of rock.Hazel was the first British woman to climb a trad route at E9, and free El Capitan in Yosemite, which she has now done three times. Hazel has also red pointed 8c (5.14b) sport and 8c+ trad and onsighted many 8as, loves all types of climbing from bouldering to alpine climbing and is especially interested in the mental challenge that climbing evokes. This interest in psychology lead her to train as a coach so she could help others with their mindset and mental-management. Hazel specialises in helping people overcome fears and limitations so they can focus on the task at hand, perform at their best and enjoy climbing more than ever. Hazel has worked with people from all walks of life including: competitive athletes, new climbers, business clients, musicians and artists.
On this journey we meet Rebecca Stephens MBE, The first British woman to climb Everest – this is the achievement for which Rebecca is best known.  She tells the story as if it were yesterday, transporting her audience – and seemingly herself – to the summit of the highest mountain of the world.  It is a deeply personal story.   She was working in London as a reporter.  An assignment took her to Everest, to report on an expedition attempting to scale an unclimbed ridge, and curiosity – why do climbers climb? – led her to climb herself, beyond the base camp to a point high on the North East Ridge.  Her life was changed.  For the first time in her 27 years she knew exactly what it was she wanted to do.Following the scaling of Everest, Rebecca the next year became the first British woman to scale the Seven summits, the highest mountain on each continent. 
Colonel John Nicholas Blashford-Snell CBE  is a former British Army officer, explorer and author. He founded Operation Raleigh and the Scientific Exploration SocietyThe maverick intrepid explorer has inspired adventurers from Sir Ranulph Fiennes to Bear Grylls. Blashers', as he's known to close friends, has been undertaking expeditions for more than 50 years since he made the first descent of the Blue Nile in 1968 on the personal invitation of Ethiopia's last emperor, Haile Selassie. After that he beat off FARC terrorists on the border of Colombia and Panama to complete the first vehicle crossing of the swampy Darién Gap, before fully navigating the Congo in the mid-1970s. Yet he says his most challenging assignment was transporting a baby grand (along with three piano tuners) to the rainforest of Guyana as a gift to the Wai Wai tribe who hosted him for three weeks. Join us on this weeks journey and please leave a review and comment after in Apple Podcasts.

Another Mans Shoe's has joined with The Pilgrim Bandits Charity and the Curtis Palmer Programme who help serviceman, veterans and police officers. The aim of this podcast is to help those who are suffering with PTSD and mental health issues in this difficult time. We take you through the lives of others who have struggled and how they cope with their battles.We hope that this series of podcast will help others in these difficult times and if it saves even  just one life, then we have achieved our aim. 
On this journey we meet Alan Shebaro, former US Special Forces and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.He recounts his training and service with Special Forces, operations in Iraq and post military life and veteran activities such as the We Defy foundation.

John takes us through his time as a member of the London Regiment through a career in the fire brigade and incidents attended. The onset of MND came as a shock and the challenges that John undertakes like cycling the length of the UK and lifting 1million kilos in 24 hours, as well as medication he is taking to try and beat this disease is inspirational.
