After experiencing anxiety as a child, it morphed into disordered eating until she discovered the Three Principles, a description of how experience is created. As a psychologist, coach, author, and speaker, Amy shares this groundbreaking new approach that helps people find lasting freedom from unwanted habits, anxiety, and self-doubt via insight rather than willpower. *There is one swear word in this recording* Murray was diagnosed with stage 4, terminal kidney cancer in 2012. It's now 2023 and he comes to share his journey. Please be aware that this is his journey - unique to him and there is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to deal with cancer...just 'your' way. I invited him onto the channel to share the hope in his story. To share that terminal doesn't have to mean that, and that we all have a unique path available to us if we drop out of the fearful mind and into the love and peace that we are before that. We therefore thought it would be helpful to share our stories. Sheela shared hers in episode number 5 so it was time for me to share mine.In it I explain how my diagnosis of IBS in my early twenties led to many other symptoms before I saw the driver of my struggles. When I saw the role my thinking was having on my physical health, it changed everything. In understanding how all humans 'work' I saw that I didn't need to try and change my thinking but rather by understanding what it was, everything changed on its own.Now I have a completely different relationship with IBS, I no longer spend hours thinking about food and symptoms and live a life that is free-er and happier with far fewer physical symptoms. To find out more about what I share in this episode join Sheela and I on our 5 week Invisibles Of Gut Health course.  Alternatively sign up for my free 5 day online course to find inner peace or put an end to your parenting struggles with my free parenting webinar recording.
