Silence is an opportunity to listen to your life. It's like bird watching. You don't search for birds; you're still silent and wait for them to appear. And it's in the waiting and in the quiet that feeds our soul. Our silence is not about being submissive or admitting weakness. It's about disarming chaos, uncertainty, and fear. By turning into silence, we begin to learn about ourselves and our minds. It's by embracing silence that we become mindful and present. Take a comfortable seat and be in a very quiet place. Please close your eyes and turn your attention inwards towards your breath as you settle into this moment of stillness and quiet focus, and only you repeat these words with me. Silence helps me focus on my thoughts. Silence will unlock new ways of thinking. Silence and reflection connect me to my purpose I savour moments of silence I will allow time for silence every day. There is power in my silence There is strength in my stillness I am an instrument of grace When I am still, my silence will guide me I am free in my silence My silence belongs to me Solitude brings me peaceToday, I will savour each moment of silence. When we learn to embrace silence within ourselves, we welcome the mind to experience joy. I want you to challenge yourself to remain present with the discomfort of silence and allow the silence to settle with ease. With mindfulness, we will reverse our fear of silence and recognize it as a calling to observe. Listen and be present. AVOID this episode - at the end the speaker is putting an affirmation into your head that you can't find peace unless you meet certain conditions that they are saying. Affirmations are not supposed to be spoken with conditions and someone else's thoughts on what makes things attainable. There are several occurrences on that within this episode. I think I have lost trust in this Podcast now and may unsubscribe.
