Bipolar disorder is a mental illness affecting over 20 million people in the United States alone. Women have this disorder more often than men.Bipolar disorder causes severe mood swings of manic or hyper maniac and depressive episodes. It is however commonly misunderstood mental disorder and under diagnosed. It is important to be able to identify the signs of bipolarism and know how to help the individual. Let’s tune in to get sneak peak to the life of a bipolar person. The host Eva Lewis talks about own experiences of living with bipolar disorder and battling with this disorder for a very long time. Self-limiting beliefs stop us from growing and moving further. When Self-limiting beliefs take over our minds, they can be seriously damaging. In this episode, the host Eva Lewis talks about how self-limiting beliefs trap us in restricting mindset and stuck us from moving forward. She further discusses that ego and negative self-talk are the main cause of limiting beliefs about not having enough money, talent, experience, and many more. Living with bipolar disorder is a rollercoaster ride. From the manic highs to the depressing lows, it has a way of seeping into every aspect of life. I know from my experience, bipolar disorder and friendships can also be tough to balance. In Episode 7 of the Two of Me Podcast, I share tips for those with bipolar and other mental illnesses and tips for those who have a friend or family member with bipolar.  I hope these tips will open you to the possibilities of genuine, long-lasting friendships without bipolar being a barrier. A lot of the time anxiety can rear its ugly head without any triggers whatsoever, but what about when anxiety is triggered by something, what can we do? In this episode, Eva discusses a number of anxiety triggers, how they affect anxiety and ways to ditch them, or at least get some control over them instead of the other way around.  And don't worry, there may be 17 triggers, but you don't have to ditch all of them! Slowly does it. 
Episode #4 - Have you ever experienced mental overload? When your mind simply cannot take on even the smallest of information otherwise it triggers you into a state of stress, anxiety, burnout etc? You start forgetting things, your stress and anxiety peak, it's bad for mental health. Mental overload is certainly one of my triggers, one which I try my best to avoid.
