It’s 5.30AM, join me for the best part of the day. Even the trees seem more relaxed at this hour it is beautiful.
I find out who’s eating my fruit and I moan about the mess I made digging trenches. A lovely morning
I’m back on the garden which looks more like a bombsite thanks to a week with a mini excavator.

Tonight I do the first shoutouts thank you so much to everyone who listens I hope you continue to tolerate my ramblings. We spot deer and I talk more mowing whilst on a wander round the field with a Baileys.
A lovely morning on the allotment with the ducks the chickens and masses and masses of growth. One of our “kittens” who isn’t really a kitten anymore is having babies of her own. The sun is out and it’s blue skies. Good morning.

Good morning! Back for season 3, so full of potential. Will there be Purple Sprouting? Will there be sprouts at all! Chickens back in full effect!
DEFRA have imposed chicken lockdown again thanks to the bird flu outbreak. It was windy last night and I lost some glass in the greenhouse. Coffee this morning and I’m still in the yellow sleeping bag.
We’ve got a cockerel. Hello it has been a while, a friend offered me his cockerel and I thought why not. Cockadoodledoo!
This is from last week when for about 24 hours the garden morphed into the Kalahari. Very hot indeed. Lovely!
GOOD EVENING. An evening stroll around the house tonight, not brought you much evening content of late but it’s a lovely time to be out after dusk after such a hot day. I go off on a traditional rant. It’s back to basics. Wade in.
Morning everyone, listen to the grasshoppers making a racket or are the crickets? I’m in the meadow drinking a coffee out of my mug and taking you for a walk. Wake up!
An abnormally lively podcast. Take pleasure listening to the hens peck away at their feeder and find out how I manage a broody bird. Mid-podcast I find out we have red mite in the coop and I plan a trip to see the chicken experts.Obviously I also have a moan, today about my health. Enjoy!
