My next guest is Author Carmen Swick! Carmen has been an author and writer since 2008 and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She has won awards on her book series of three, Patch Land Adventures. She was the presenting children’s book author for the 2014 Young Writers Conference and also volunteers for a non-profit organization, The Foundation Fighting Blindness, where she held the position as the President of the Denver Chapter, for the past 11 years.
