Susan Smith is a really good example of child abuse meets mental illness meets sociopathy. 1This is the end of the Dean Corll saga but 40+ years later it is not over for these families. This episode really paints a great picture of the absolutely horrible job the Houston Texas Police Department did helping a single on of these children. Parents that called for answers were given attitude, platitudes, and zero empathy. Many of these children would still be alive if not for the lackadaisical attitude of the Houston Police.
