Description

Welcome to Haventalk by Haventec, a Digital Privacy podcast. Haventec is a Digital Privacy company, based in Sydney Australia. It was born out of a simple but compelling question - can your digital identity and your sensitive data be protected online? Is it possible to be truly private and what can companies do to take responsibility for their employees and their customers. Haventalk by Haventec will examine these questions over the course of the next 6 months from a global perspective. We’ll look at the impact of breaches on businesses, we’ll examine how cryptography has evolved, we’ll seek out the best innovations out there.

In this episode of Haventalk, we speak with Sarah Miles, Privacy Champion at the ABC. We explore the role of the Privacy Champion in Federal Government agencies and how it enables organisational privacy awareness and good privacy practices at both operational and strategic levels. We also discuss why privacy is an integral part of digital transformation and enhancing citizen trust.
In this episode of Haventalk, we look at the value of Identity. Dr Joseph Sweeney is an expert in the Future of Work and an analyst with IBRS. As Identity has evolved over the past few years, Dr Sweeney is concluding some research that delves into the strategic imperatives behind Identity and Identity Governance, how IT Leaders should be thinking about revenue generating activities and future of "passwordless". It's a thoughtful and, in some respects, challenging perspective!
This is a discussion with Jefferson Bross, CTO of Digizoo, on the increasing role that our devices play in the role of Identity - our devices learn about our Accessibility Needs, our Biometrics, our Communication styles, our Response characteristics. What if that information was something that you could consent to share? This idea, and more, is explored in the latest episode of Haventalk - a Digital Privacy Podcast.

And why an inventer would be drawn to the world of Digital Privacy. We speak with Ric Richardson. He is the co-founder of Haventec and the inventor of the concepts that allows Haventec to make some incredible claims about the robustness of our Digital Protection technology. But, more importantly, he’s possibly the most prolific inventor in modern Australian history. He has literally hundreds of patents to his name and he is one of very few people to have had two episodes of Australian Story dedicated to them.
