In this episode of Mornings with Mel, Melissa Faisst actually talks us through John 5 and the way that the TV series The Chosen portrayed it in this weeks episode.Oftentimes we can think we are putting our hope in God, but it's a lot easier to put our hope in something we can see, something we can control. We put our hope in bank accounts, jobs, what we look like, our stuff, but at the end of the day, it's all empty promises. The only safe place for our hope, is God. So if you have been disappointed before or are placing your hope in something other than Him, then this episode is for you!// The Mornings with Mel PodcastA Daily Devotional for Christians where every morning, Monday-Friday we open up the Bible together seeking to know God, love Jesus & live our life with Christ. Each day, your host, Melissa Faisst from Ronnie and Mel Ministries, will take you through a passage in the Bible, help you apply it to you life, and help you grow in your love for Jesus. We want to be ones with unshakeable faith, and that is only possible by knowing and spending time with our Savior Jesus Christ. So together, let's seek to know & love Him more each morning. In this episode of Mornings with Mel, Melissa Faisst reminds us that the way the world defines success and the way GOD defines success are polar opposites.Oftentimes we want to be known and be great for the things we do in this life, and that's fine, because God actually made us with those desires. BUT we were made to be known and be great in God's sight, not the worlds, and therefore HOW we become great is also different. So if you desire to be great but are struggling with getting your "likes" from the world, then this episode is for you!// The Mornings with Mel PodcastA Daily Devotional for Christians where every morning, Monday-Friday we open up the Bible together seeking to know God, love Jesus & live our life with Christ. Mornings with Mel has been the perfect quick 10 minute devotion I've needed to bring me back to Jesus each day. With busy schedules and new routines it's been nice to be able to pop on any time of day where I can listen and connect with each message, whether I'm cleaning, making breakfast,or waiting at school pick up. I swear its like she knows exactly what I've been feeling an thinking, and it's nice to know your not alone.
