On Aug. 9, Seneca County Commissioner Anthony Paradiso and Emergency Services Director Ken Majors joined County PR Director Jimmy Flint  to discuss the future of EMS in the county.On Aug. 5 an important meeting was held with local officials to discuss the topic of EMS coverage in the rural areas in the county (outside of the areas covered by Tiffin and Fostoria's paid squads). During the meeting, the commissioners presented a PowerPoint to provide a plan and a path forward to improve service and build long-term sustainability.During the podcast, the trio recounted the meeting and discussed some of the intricacies of the county's vision for building upon past successes to accomplish the common goal of all involved: to provide quick, reliable and quality prehospital care in 10 minutes or less to anyone who needs it in the local service area.If you have comments or questions, please contact Flint, jflint@senecacountyohio.gov.

Commissioner Shayne Thomas sat down with Seneca County Public Relations Coordinator Jimmy Flint to look back on his four-years in office as his term comes to a close at the end of the year. This nearly two-hour session addresses several topics, including an overview of some of the accomplishments of the past four years, a discussion on hot-button issues and some other general questions.
Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services Director Kathy Oliver was featured on Episode 3 of the County Conversation Podcast. Oliver discussed her roughly 20 years with Seneca County DJFS, explained what types of services are offered by the agency and discussed winning the 2018 Ohio DJFS Director of the Year honor. Also, don't miss the new segment at the end when Oliver was put on the "hot seat" to answer 10 rapid fire questions about herself.
Seneca County Public Relations Coordinator Jimmy Flint interviewed Seneca County Emergency Services Director Ken Majors on the first edition of the County Conversation Podcast. Majors visited the commissioners in August to give a report on emergency medical services in Seneca County, and this podcast served as a chance to give more details about the past, present and future of Seneca County EMS.
On the second County Conversation Podcast, Seneca County Public Relations Coordinator Jimmy Flint chatted with Seneca County Board of Elections Chair Jim Fruth about the upcoming Nov. 3 General Election. The pair discussed precinct election officials, absentee voting and preparing to run a successful and transparent election during the COVID-19 health crisis.
