Description

Pull up a chair and take a seat! You’re invited to The Missions Table, an open and casual forum where different voices share their experiences in missions and ministry. Whether you feel a call to ministry, share a burden for missions, or just want to know more about what happens on the foreign mission field, there’s something for you at The Missions Table. Impacting and enlightening lessons in ministry often occur in informal settings—outside the classroom or after the church service has ended—as devoted men and women of God share their life and ministry experiences. These special moments gathered around a kitchen or restaurant table can forever change and shape us, and our ministries. The Missions Table provides a venue for these experiences to be shared with a wide audience and an opportunity to learn from those who have gone before.

Pioneer missionary to Croatia and Slovenia, Brother Radovan Hajduk recounts his grim and stormy childhood and adolescence, as well as his stirring testimony of redemption. Raised in a Communist culture devoid of God and in a home bereft of natural love and affection, life tossed Bro. Hajduk into one abusive relationship after another. Filled with rage and drifting without purpose, Bro. Hajduk himself became the abuser he so loathed until the hand of Providence intervened, and the process of healing began! This podcast will give you faith that no one is a “lost cause.” If you would like to support the Hajduk’s ministry financially, you can do so by using the link below and searching for “Hajduk, Radovan and Tanya”: https://www.globalmissions.com/giving/enroll-as-pim.aspxAs always, you can connect with our guest, or TMT team on Twitter or other platforms, through the links below:Radovan Hajduk, @radovanhajdukNathan Harrod, @NathanHarrodRyan Paul, @ApostolicPaulsJoshua Tingley, @TingleyJoshua Sam Zenobia (Instagram) @snkzenobia
Pastor Jerry Dean of The Pentecostals of Bossier City instructs us how to develop a global impact in our local churches. With nearly 50 years of ministry, Bro. Dean walks us step-by-step through faith-based principles with the power to transform any local assembly into a 1st class missions-giving church. Bro. Dean claims the first step is to turn Jesus’ mandate in the Great Commission into a passionate and personal burden. Only after this foundation is set in place can we embark on a journey that will both test and bless us (and our congregations) as never before! Regional Director of the Europe and Middle East (EME) region, and former missionary to Holland, Bro. Mike Tuttle, reminds us that our job is to make people hungry for Christ, and ultimately, act as the bridge to Christ.  Bro. Tuttle calls for intentional and focused ministry to affect this hunger and shares battle-tested ministry strategies. The EME region is collectively praying for and working toward the “Connecting Cities to Christ” initiative, in which new churches are planted each year, with a special focus on the capital cities. This year's goal is to plant 21 new churches in 2021, with a goal to plant 22 new churches in 2022, continuing on this same trajectory each successive year.If you’d like to learn more about this initiative or get involved in missions in the EME region, check out the links below: https://emeupci.com/https://www.gmstm.net/As always, you can connect with our guest, or TMT team on Twitter or other platforms, through the links below:Mike Tuttle, @mikeltuttleNathan Harrod, @NathanHarrodRyan Paul, @ApostolicPaulsJoshua Tingley, @TingleyJoshua Sam Zenobia (Instagram) @snkzenobia
Veteran missionary to Guatemala, Brad Thompson challenges us to move beyond “the missionary must win the whole nation by himself” mentality, into the realm of ministry multiplication through the power of transformative teaching. We are to duplicate ourselves in those we teach because that is what Jesus did. Bro. Thompson candidly shares his frustrations and successes in the process of growing a world-class Bible School program in the nation of Guatemala, along with a series of “student-first” principles for Bible School programs. As a Regional Coordinator for the UPCI Global Missions official training arm, Global Association of Theological Studies (GATS), Bro. Thompson also describes the GATS Global Educators program. The dual-pronged program provides training resources to missionaries and also provides ample service opportunities for those considering service on the mission field. For more information about GATS, its resources, and its service opportunities visit https://www.gatsonline.org/ or email Bro. International evangelist and veteran missionary of 21 years to German-speaking nations, Charles Robinette, details his first Holy Ghost crusade in Ethiopia and how it ignited a radically apostolic ministry and launched a global crusade ministry. In this episode, Bro. Robinette peels back the “mystique” behind crusade ministry. We tend to home in on two or three services in which thousands of miracles and Holy Ghost infillings take place. But as Bro. Robinette explains apostolic crusade ministry functions best as an enduring partnership of faith. And the greatest benefit comes in the apostolic training of the crusade team, which will bear fruit for generations. Bro. Robinette’s new book, Radically Apostolic: The Reality, the Journey and the Reward of the Call of God, can be purchased in certain languages at amazon.com (Kindle and paperback). https://www.amazon.com (English Version Hardcover). A veteran missionary of 18 years explains one of the newest strategies of the UPCI for evangelizing unreached people groups in Access Challenged Nations (ACNs).  ACNs are characterized by two or more of the following criteria: Little or no known indigenous apostolic presence, challenging visa and immigration policies, or persecution. The extensive ACN network combines a team of researchers with national churches, already appointed missionaries in gateway nations, and even other Christians in different denominations to uncover solutions for penetrating ACNs. If you would like to learn more about ACNs or are interested in getting involved in ACN missions, please visit the Short-Term Missions link or email address below:https://www.gmstm.net/ACNupci@protonmail.comIf you’d like to connect with the TMT team on Twitter or other platforms, check out the links below:Nathan Harrod, @NathanHarrodRyan Paul, @ApostolicPaulsJoshua Tingley, @TingleyJoshua Sam Zenobia (Instagram) @snkzenobia
