In this episode, I talk with Craig Collings about product labelling and changes to representation in Overseas Markets.  This is an area that continues to change in a post-Brexit world."With the imminent One-Stop Shop VAT affecting Business-to-Consumer (B2C) currently being implemented in the EU market and Business-to-Business (B2B) requiring EU representation for products being sold in the EU market. The landscape of the export/import market into the UK and EU is changing rapidly. The One-Stop Shop (OSS) or Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) will directly affect all B2C transactions in the EU market going forward. Just as Importers into the EU market will require an EU Fiscal Representative for IOSS transactions, companies outside of the EU that sell products online to EU consumers, will now need to have EU product representation if sending products directly to the EU consumer. This change is the implementation of the Market Surveillance Regulation which comes into force on the 16th July 2021."

Listen to a review of Sterling, Euro and US Dollar recent performance. Plus key factors likely to affect their performance over the next 12 months  A general improvement in global economic conditions was almost taken for granted by investors during the first quarter. Whilst the statistics were not entirely ignored, trading decisions were driven at least as much by the perception of progress in the battle of Covid, especially concerning the delivery of vaccinations.  Read our latest Currency Market Forecast to:Help you decide when to convert your currencyImprove budgeting for your next financial yearProvide bespoke analysis for your exposures
