Season 2 Episode 6 It's rom com time! This week Producer Neil brings forth the 1998 film Sliding Doors about Helen (played by Gwyneth Paltrow) who's life diverges into two separate timelines when she succeeds in, and also fails to, catch a Tube Train home after being fired from her PR job.Together Sam, Mim & Neil debate whether this is a romantic comedy, drama or science fiction. Episode 4 - The science one. This week Sam and Mim are joined down the line from Slovakia by their teacher pal, Tom, who was enjoying a brief bit of downtime before the arrival of his first child. Specifically 2 televised dating shows of the 1990s. Mim nominates one of her all time favourites - Streetmate  And Sam's pick this week is MTV's Singled Out We recommend you have a quick look at an early episode of Blind Date to see what these shows were up against/rebelling against, plus listen all the way to the end to hear Sam and Mim play real life matchmakers hoping to help 2 singles find love. Will there be a podmatch?!
