My podcast is Psalm 127 - A Man's PsalmJoin Pastor Bob for another Soul Soothing episode.  Psalm127 focuses on a man's world...in particular a man and his family.  It's known as a wisdom Psalm because it was written by the wisest man who ever lived...Solomon. Solomon addresses the areas of a man's home, a man's community/city; a man's work, and a man's family (in particular, a man's sons)In all these areas Solomon basically says they are all meaningless....UNLESS...the LORD is the center of them allSolomon also wrote the Book of Ecclesiastes, concluding the Book with the same idea this Psalm conveys...God brings meaning and purpose to life. Solomon's words can be summed up this way:God is the true source of meaning and purpose in life. Apart from Him, life is vanity/meaningless.
