Today’s episode I’ve invited Sarina from Financially Fit Her to the podcast.. She’s a mother and a money mindset coach and she’s on a mission to help women heal their relationship with their finances and get them out of that lack mentality when it comes to financial abundance. With a banking background, Sarina is a certified money coach and qualified mortgage broker. She started Financially Fit Her in 2020, where she pairs psychological principles, universal spiritual beliefs and practical financial guidance to support her clients to change their relationship with money. Having gone through this journey over the last 5 years myself, and after reaching a big financial goal in the process by adapting this exact type of method I thought it was timely to have someone join me (with the educational backing) to discuss all things money and mindset.  Links   Follow Sarina on Instagram - @financiallyfither Purchase "Her Money Planner" - Her Money Planner Movement + Mimosas on Instagram - @movementandmimosas Find Sarah on Instagram - @sarah.fitculture For Coaching  - www.fitculturebysarah.com    Make sure you hit SUBSCRIBE to the podcast so you don’t miss out on any these episodes. So it turns out my hormones are VERY unhappy…. again. After a very stressful year, I had a sneaking suspicion based on my symptoms that something wasn’t working correctly and knew it was time to reach out for support.    When it comes to our bodies it can feel like such a personal and sensitive subject, so my initial thought was to reach out to my good friend, and ex-client Sammie, who specializes in functional health.    Sammie has a degree in Exercise science majoring in Cardiac science however after experiencing her own hormonal dysfunction from undereating and overtraining 10 years ago (shortly after I had experience my first encounter with hormonal imbalance) she threw herself into building her knowledge around functional heath where she worked alongside a company in the USA, learning hormone testing, best practice protocols, physiology of the body and how hormones communicate with each other and other systems on the body.    In this episode we flesh out what my body is currently going through, and some of the protocols we have in place to help soothe my hormones back to a happy and balanced place!  Links Follow Sammie on Instagram - @Sammie.functionalhealth  Listen to the Aligned AF Podcast here  Follow Movement + Mimosas on Instagram - @movementandmimosas Follow Sarah on Instagram - @sarah.fitculture Visit my website for blogs/merch/coaching  - www.fitculturebysarah.com    Make sure you hit SUBSCRIBE to the podcast so you don’t miss out on any these episodes. Candice Kemp - A breath of fresh air!  She’s innovative, creative and driven yet has a warm and calming essence about her! After creating over 10 businesses, with some failing and others going viral, making millions, she has an abundance of knowledge to now share with the world.    This episode we talk about Candy’s journey to success where she navigated her career starting out as a teen mum. Candy is so open about the lessons she has learnt throughout the many startups she has begun and has a real flair for spotting gaps in the market, creating a brand or product and making it sell fast with next to no money. This week I wanted to shed some light on my money story and personal goals, that I spent most of 2022 working toward. In the episode I unpack the limiting belief I had around the goal and the challenges I’ve faced to achieve it. While most of us know that anything worth having doesn’t always come easy, I wanted to get vulnerable and open up about my journey in hope that you feel seen if you’re in the same position or provide some inspiration to make the sacrifices needed to reach your goal. Be kind as this journey has not been easy but if my story can empower just ONE person then I'm glad to have shared it x   Links Follow Movement + Mimosas on Instagram - @movementandmimosas Follow Sarah on Instagram - @sarah.fitculture Visit my website for coaching/resistance bands - www.fitculturebysarah.com    Make sure you hit SUBSCRIBE to the podcast so you don’t miss out on any these episodes. The Special Emergency Response Team within the Queensland Police Service provides the ability to respond to high risk situations incidents statewide. The tasks of the role range from resolving siege situations to counter terrorism operations and everything in between including resolving the recent incident in Tara which claimed the life of 6 people including 2 QPS officers and a nearby resident.    With this level of responsibility only around 4-5 applicants are successful out of approximately  70 people per intake. The three-day selection course is regarded as the most difficult and physically demanding course within the Queensland Police Service. It tests physical and mental endurance through individual and team tasks, problem solving, sleep deprivation, basic survival skills and by challenging phobias.  You can only imagine the level of resilience required or to be acquired to have the ability to not only make it through the selection criteria but to maintain your role as a SERT Operator.    Today I have one of our very own QPS SERT operators with me to give some insight into what he does, how he uses those skills transferable to impact his life for the better but also open up about some of the challenges faced with this type of work. For obvious reasons we need to keep his identity private but I hope there’s something you’ll learn today from my conversation around resilience.   Links & Helpful Resources -  Follow Movement + Mimosas on Instagram - @movementandmimosas Follow Sarah on Instagram - @sarah.fitculture Visit my website for blogs/merch/coaching  - www.fitculturebysarah.com  Visit Overwatch Fitness - https://overwatchfitness.com.au/ Follow Overwatch Fitness -  @overwatchfitnessactual   Make sure you hit SUBSCRIBE to the podcast so you don’t miss out on any of these episodes.  If you enjoyed this episode, I would so LOVE for you to leave a rating and review x

We haven’t touched on dating ep in a while and listening to a friend currently still sifting through the dating pool of men who are barely hitting the bare minimum of effort, we wanted to open the conversation around glamorizing the BARE MINIMUM. It’s sad that these days basic things such as  respect, time, clarity and compassion are these completely romanticised traits when, shouldn’t these be common human decency. There’s no arguing that the dating world can be so complicated and murky these days. We wanted to start a thought provoking conversation to get YOU to set out what your bare minimum is, and say no to anything that isn’t that. And not to glamourize it. You are so worthy of your needs being met and everything more!  Things We Mention -  What should the bare minimum requirements be for YOU. When the bare minimum may not matter. A few tell tale signs that someone is not showing mutual investment. PLUS, Sarah gives a perfect example of how not to glamourize basic respect in a relationship. Domestic abuse isn’t always physical. Coercive control is something Hannah Clarke lived with daily throughout her marriage until her husband took the lives of her and her 3 beautiful children, Laianah, Aaliyah and Trey in a horrific attack on February 19th 2020. For those who aren’t familiar with the term ‘coercion’, it is a pattern of acts of assault, threats, humiliation and intimidation or other abuse that is used to harm, punish, or frighten the victim.  This controlling behaviour is designed to make a person dependent by isolating them from support, exploiting them, depriving them of independence and regulating their everyday behaviour, and unfortunately it’s happening all around us.  The murder of Hannah Clarke and her children was a ‘line in the sand’ moment in Australia and in today’s episode we speak to Dave Kramer, an ambassador for Small Steps 4 Hannah on Coercive Control about how the foundation are tackling this issue head on and implementing a much needed change. We have no doubt by the end of this episode that you’ll have a clearer understanding on what Coercive Control means and we all need to play a part in helping push for this change. Things We Mention - What coercive control is and how it can be so easily hidden in plain sight. The steps you can take to get support if you’re experiencing coercive control.  The importance of facilitating conversations with young men about how to manage their emotions. How Small Steps 4 Hannah uses the generous funds raised to support women who are experiencing domestic violence. PLUS Dave shares with us the Be There App and how helpful it is to determine what kind of support may be needed if you or a loved one is experiencing domestic violence.  Links & Helpful Resources -  Follow us on Instagram - @movementandmimosas Join the Movement & Mimosas Group Chat on Facebook Support Small Steps 4 Hannah Download the Be There App  Contact Legal Aid Contact DV Connect Read the Conversation Guide  View the Coercive Control Wheel View the Equality Wheel Visit The Red Tent - a directory of practitioners to help you with your mental, spiritual and physical health.
