At certain times of year, you’ll pick up a light scent of apple blossoms on the breeze. It’s a sensory experience, much like our ciders and spirits. Our approach is all about guiding nature’s process to develop high-quality, all-natural products that are farm crafted with a sense of character, curiosity and intrigue. We are committed to making craft cider by growing heritage cider apples and slow-fermenting the juice from the first apple pressing. The unique flavours, notes, and tannins come from the ground where the apples are grown, the juice, skin, and seeds, and the natural fermenting and distilling processes. We do not create mixed beverages, but rather craft pure cider and spirits.About Rick PipesRick is a third-generation Vancouver Island entrepreneur. A practicing lawyer in Victoria for 25 years with a Business degree and a Law degree, Rick decided to trade law for the leisurely and laidback life of a country farmer (little did he know!). Ice Optional!About Bruinwood Estate DistilleryBruinwood Estate Distillery is one of BC’s smaller farm-gate distilleries and was established in 2018 by proprietors Jeff Barringer and Danise Lofstrom on their five acre apiary in Roberts Creek, British Columbia. The idea of creating the distillery began in the late 90's with a visit to Nichol Vineyards on the Naramata Bench near Penticton. As television producers, we worked in the food and drinks realm. From there, we had a broad view of culinary trends and eventually, we saw that distilleries were beginning to emerge and thrive. As our TV careers started to wane, we decided to revitalize the idea of building a distillery. We spent two and a half years rezoning the property, getting provincial and federal licences, actually building the distillery and of course, learning how to make the spirits. Our years of immersing ourselves in the best of food and flavours now comes together in our bottles of quality spirits that will delight and surprise the senses. You can find and follow Bruinwood Estate Distillery at: www.bruinwood.com FacebookInstagramYou can find and follow GINspired at:  Order your copy of GINSPIRED: The Ultimate Gin Cookbook TODAY https://theginshop.ca/ (for all your GINtastic clothing and fun gin-related novelty items)FacebookInstagramPinterest       Support the showWant your very own Gin Tasting Journal to track all your gintastic experiences?
