We will talk about another rising trend that is not a good one. It's called an accidental deposit scam. These scams involve fraudsters using mobile payment apps to trick users into sending them money, and they're becoming far too common. So, how do these scams work? Well, let's say you receive money through a payment app like Venmo or Cash App from someone you don't know. Then you start getting messages from them saying they made a typo, sent you money by accident, and they're asking you to please send it back. You might think, how could it be a scam if someone is sending me money? But here's the catch. The money accidentally sent to you was likely from a hacked credit card or bank account.
The M3 MacBook Air is generally more budget friendly with the entry level 13 inch model starting at 1, 099. On the other hand, the 14 inch MacBook Pro with the same M3 chip comes with a higher price tag due to additional features like a better display and more storage. Let's talk about the difference between a virus and malware. A virus is a type of malware that is designed to replicate itself and spread from one device to another. It can infect files, programs, or boot sectors of a computer or network and cause damage or disruption. A virus needs a host program or file to run and spread and it can be activated by a trigger such as a date or an action.
Today we're going to talk about two new vulnerabilities that have been discovered affecting Intel and AMD CPUs. These are called Downfall and Inception and they are both related to the infamous Meltdown and Spectre bugs that rocked the industry a few years ago. But how serious are these new threats and what can you do to protect yourself?Let's find out, what are Downfall and Inception? Downfall and Inception are two new vulnerabilities found in Intel and AMD processors, respectively. They both exploit a feature called Speculative Execution, which is a technique that allows CPUs to perform faster by guessing what instructions will be executed next, and executing them in advance.
