Description

Are you looking for creative inspiration? Poetry is Freedom, hosted by LaRisa Denise, is a podcast that centers Black and Brown artists using one of the most liberatory mediums in existence: poetry. As the title suggests, she considers poetry a freedom we must protect and advance at all costs. Each week listeners will hear a popular poem, a few reflective questions to inspire your own writing, and a piece from the host. Tune in if you love poetry, need more poetry from marginalized communities in your readings, or find yourself looking for inspiration for your own writing.
