Description

How did 9/11 the day become 9/11 the idea? That question drives Pineapple Street Studios and award-winning host Dan Taberski (Missing Richard Simmons, Running From COPS, The Line) to shift the focus to what happened on 9/12, and every day after that. 9/12 is a poignant, surprising, and surprisingly funny seven episode series about people who wake up on 9/12 having to navigate a new, radically altered world. A teenager gets caught up in an out-of-control conspiracy theory that he helped start. A Pakistani business owner finds hundreds of his Brooklyn neighbors are disappearing. Joke-writers at The Onion must figure out just how soon is “too soon”? 9/12 asks what it all means. We know what happened on 9/11. But what happened on 9/12 to alter our memory and our perspective forever?

The series 9/12 earned three Podcast Academy Awards at the 2022 Ambies, including Podcast of the Year.

The host of this show is so biased in his description of the guests and what they have to say. He sounds like typical NPRadio "I'm so comfortable in my suburbanite life that I don't want to believe anything other version than the government's version so I can get on with my life". One blatant mischaracterization after another concerning the facts. But, yeah, let's go with the history buff's understanding of engineering and building architecture. What a bunch of I still have questions about both sides version of 9/11, but this show is nothing more than a disgracefully biased attempt to convince listeners to turn off their brains and just accept the "official version ".

listened to the whole podcast on Wondery +. This is trash. So much twisting by the host to explain that we got what we deserved, Osama was a nice guy👍. Just trash.

I have a crazy 9/12 story. My brother was going to graduate from the Marines boot camp on 9/12. All air traffic was completely stopped so I wasn't sure I would get out to see him with my Dad. We were in NJ and he was at Parris Island off the coast of Georgia. LONG story short...I made it. A plane, train, bus, cab ride and a couple of thousand dollars later we made it.

9/12 was the first day of a different world. It’s as if the world was violently torn out of one universe into a parallel reality. We fell through the looking glass, into opposite world. 9/12 was the dawning realization that nothing that I believed to be reality was inaccurate or worse, completely a deception. What little innocence I had on 9/10 was obliterated. It’s as if our nation in a continuous state of mourning.

Radically different hyper-reality? Sounds like way too much weed smoked during time travel back to Woodstock. Lol How self-absorbed we became / have become. Do we listen to ourselves?
