Have a few minutes to listen? Lisa & Staci talk about the reasons that boundaries are important in a not-for-profit organization:Protecting the well-being of staff: Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries can help prevent burnout, stress, and other negative consequences that can result from overworking or taking on too much responsibility.Maintaining professionalism: Boundaries help ensure that non-profit staff maintain professional relationships with clients, donors, and other stakeholders. This can help build trust and credibility with the community and ensure that the organization is operating ethically.Avoiding conflicts of interest: Establishing clear boundaries can help prevent conflicts of interest or perceptions of impropriety that could undermine the organization's credibility or legal standing.Preserving the organization's independence: Maintaining boundaries with donors and other stakeholders can help ensure that the organization is able to pursue its mission without undue influence or pressure from external sources.Overall, setting and maintaining boundaries in a non-profit organization is crucial for protecting the well-being of staff, ensuring professional conduct, avoiding conflicts of interest, and maintaining the independence and credibility of the organization. Interested in being on our podcast, reach out!Email: info@morningstarconsultant.comBusiness and Management Consultant - Winnipeg, Manitoba (morningstarconsultant.com)(11) Morning Star Consultive Services | FacebookMorning Star Consultive Services (@MorningStarchix) / TwitterLisa Goss (@morningstarconsulting_) • Instagram photos and videos(1) Morning Star Consulting: Overview | LinkedInSupport the showThis podcast is not associated with or endorsed by any company, employer or agency.
